PA66+GF25 (25% glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66) is a balanced-performance engineering plastic, good heat resistance, widely used in automotive components that require moderate rigidity, surface quality, and dimensional stability.
I. Core Performance Advantages

    Heat resistance: HDT (1.8MPa) ≈ 200°C, stable in long-term 120–150°C environments
Rigidity & strength: Higher than unreinforced PA66, with good impact resistance
Dimensional stability: Low molding shrinkage (≈0.5–0.8%), ensuring assembly precision
Surface quality: Less fiber exposure than high-GF grades, suitable for visible exterior/interior parts
Chemical resistance: Resistant to oil, coolant, salt spray, and automotive fluids
Processability: Good flowability, easy to mold complex thin-walled structures

II. Typical Automotive Applications

1. Interior Components

Door handle bases / lock mechanism housings: Rigidity and wear resistance
Instrument panel (IP) brackets / air vent frames: Dimensional stability and low warpage
Seat adjustment levers / gear shift knobs: Good surface appearance and impact resistance
Steering wheel core components: Heat resistance and fatigue resistance

2. Engine Compartment Components

Engine cover / cylinder head cover trim: Good heat resistance and surface finish
Oil pan gaskets / valve cover seals: Sealing performance and chemical resistance
Sensor housings (temperature/pressure sensors): Dimensional stability and insulation
Wiring harness connectors / terminal blocks: Electrical insulation and heat resistance

3. Exterior & Body Components

Side mirror housings / mirror bases: Weather resistance and dimensional stability
Door module brackets / window regulator components: Moderate rigidity and vibration resistance
Fuel filler door hinges / latches: Corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance

4. Thermal & Fluid Management Systems

Coolant reservoir housings / expansion tank brackets: Heat resistance and chemical resistance
HVAC duct connectors / valve housings: Dimensional stability and heat aging resistance
Air intake system resonators / duct clamps: Good flowability and surface quality

5. Electrical & Electronic Components

Battery module housings / fuse box covers: Insulation and heat resistance
Charging port housings (low-voltage): Dimensional stability and impact resistance
ECU (Engine Control Unit) housings: Rigidity and electromagnetic shielding compatibility

III. Key Selection Considerations

1.Balance of rigidity and toughness: Better impact resistance than PA66+GF30, suitable for parts requiring both strength and toughness。
2.Surface finish: Preferred for visible components due to minimal fiber exposure。
3.Cost efficiency: Lower material cost than high-GF grades while meeting performance requirement。。
    4. Moisture absorption: PA66 is hygroscopic; pre-drying is required before molding to avoid defects.
