3. PA612 158L Key Grade Characteristics1.Medium viscosity with internal lubricationBalances mold filling and mechanical strength; self-lubricating and wear-resistant, ideal for slides, gears and bushings with smooth movement and low mold sticking risk; no extra external mold release agent required.
2.Low water absorption & excellent dimensional stabilityMuch lower moisture uptake than PA6 and PA66, resulting in minimal dimensional fluctuation under humid conditions, suitable for precision small mechanical components.
3.Broad chemical resistanceResistant to engine oil, grease, alcohol, weak acids & alkalis, and general cleaning agents; applicable to automotive fuel and hydraulic small parts.
4.Dual processing compatibilityCapable of injection molding various structural parts, as well as extrusion for tubes, rods, monofilaments and cable coatings.
5.No dedicated medical complianceOnly basic FDA food contact certification available; without ISO 10993, USP Class VI biocompatibility certifications, not allowed for implantable devices or medical instruments requiring repeated sterilization.
4. PA612 158L Standard Injection Molding Processing Guidelines1.Drying: Dehumidified hot air drying at 80℃ for 2~4 hours; optimal moisture content ≤0.1%, maximum acceptable 0.15% to avoid silver streaks and hydrolysis embrittlement.
2.Barrel temperature profile: 235~255℃, nozzle temperature +5~10℃ higher.
3.Constant mold temperature at 70℃ to enhance surface gloss and uniform crystallization.
4.Screw residence time: 3~5 minutes ideal; never exceed 10 minutes to prevent thermal degradation and discoloration.
5.Molding parameters: Medium-high injection speed for filling, moderate holding pressure to reduce internal stress and warpage.
5. PA612 158L Typical Applications (Industrial & Automotive Focus)1.Automotive: Fuel line connectors, tubing liners, gears, sliding latches for door & window, oil pump components
2.General machinery: Wear-resistant slides, small gears, bearing bushings, precision valve seats, pneumatic parts
3.Extruded products: PA612 tubing, rods, fine filaments, cable coatings
4.General food-contact small parts (non-sterilization ambient-use only)
5.Sanitary ware, cosmetic pump bodies and sliding structures (ambient use only, not for repeated high-temperature disinfection)
